Between chasing doodles, kids, his wife, a career in medicine, and sandwiched between practicing guitar and crossing things off the never-ending honey do list, he finds time to write about adventures in the Dark Frontier.
The Dark Frontier is a 5 book series set in a grim world akin to the American Old West with elements of magic, political intrigue and morally complex characters who use the magic for their own purposes. The main character, Emmele, must master her own abilities to find her own life in the world. But villains and enemies she hasn't met yet have been at work in the world far longer, and her disadvantage proves costly at every turn.
